About this role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our AI Platform & Cloud Infrastructure team. This role will focus on building scalable cloud infrastructure, AI-powered automation systems, and integration platforms that power our core business applications. You will take ownership of multiple back-end services.

In this role, you will orchestrate between maintaining current projects, implementing new features and capabilities, solving production issues when needed, and provide a technical focal point in the team. This bridges the gap between different roles including software engineers, data, DevOps, and business side. You will collaborate on infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.

Daily work involves designing serverless applications and microservices on AWS, building AI agent platforms, and integrating third-party services. Implement monitoring, alerting, observability solutions, and write comprehensive tests to maintain high code quality. Manage complex workflows and production systems at scale.

Grow by taking part in the adoption and integration of new AI tools and workflows in the team. Leverage modern full-stack capabilities with strong focus on clean development processes. Become a knowledge lead driven by data across cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in RnD roles
Extensive AWS experience, mostly in Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, ECS, VPC, Infrastructure-as-code
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)/Python for backend services, React and Next.js for frontend
Workflow orchestration: design complex, multi-tenant agentic workflows and manage production-grade orchestration
Heavily focused on clean development process: best-practices approach, test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, proper documentation
Communicate proficiently with stakeholders, driven by data
Experience running production systems at scale
Modern full-stack development capabilities

Responsibilities

Take end-to-end ownership on all backend infrastructure and applicative environment for OnePlatform
Design and develop serverless applications and microservices on AWS
Build and maintain AI agent platforms and automation workflows
Integrate third-party services and webhooks
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
Serve as knowledge lead across software engineers, data, DevOps, and business roles
